ineffective earplugspoor soundproofing
The provided earplugs were ineffective against the noise of trams. Their poor quality made them useless (especially for those with smaller ears). The hotel should invest in better soundproofing, like secondary glazing. That would improve the quality of stay sensitive to noise.
